About Us

Celtic Crafts is based on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, just off the North Northumberland coast.  Holy Island is known as the 'cradle of Christianity' after St. Aidan, followed by St. Cuthbert converted (many of ) the 'heathen border people' into Christians.  We moved onto Holy Island 34 years ago to run the Island Store, then as circumstances changed, we bought Sally's and started up Celtic Crafts. Our desire is to provide beautiful Celtic gifts, made by Celtic people around our lovely country, to either give or keep (buy two; one to keep and the other to give away !).

A few years ago we re-designed our wonderful old building (Circa 1600) and now have a delightful holiday let above the shop, this is very popular with families and couples - I think the children love the private garden and the parents love the space and comfort Sally's gives.
