Depicting Lindisfarne Castle beneath the shimmering colours of the Aurora Borealis, this striking piece captures the magical atmosphere and beauty of the island skies. In Shetland dialect, the Northern Lights are known as the “Mirrie Dancers” — a wonderful traditional name for this breathtaking natural phenomenon.

Handcrafted in sterling silver using the traditional cloisonné enamelling technique, each brooch is individually made in the Shetland Isles workshop. The rich colours and fine detailing ensure every piece is unique, with subtle variations adding to its handmade character.
